Grand Occasions Banqueting Suite Birmingham

Located on the outskirts of Birmingham’s banqueting and eatery triangle, Grand Occasions is an outstanding modernised late Victorian building that retains many of its original Victorian grandeur, beauty and unique architectural features.

Originally built in 1926 as a centre of recreation, culture and banqueting, the building still fulfils the same function to this day, with two main halls and a VIP room available for hire. Throughout its history, the Grand Occasions building was used for many other purposes from being a Masonic Hall in the thirties to Springfield Social Club as it was famously known just after the Second World War. The name Grand Occasions was given in 2006 when it officially once again became a banqueting and hospitality suite. Following a change of ownership in 2012 Grand Occasions was given a major overhaul and is now an up to date and elegant venue with all the facilities of a modern building.

Today

Grand Occasions Banqueting Suite BirminghamGrand Occasions Banqueting Suite now caters for wedding ceremonies, receptions, concerts, parties, conferences, exhibitions and all other special occasions. There are two suites, one downstairs and the other upstairs with a separate VIP and Bridal  room.

As you enter, the stairs lead up to one suite, whilst the entrance of the other is in front. Therefore, it is possible for two functions to take place here simultaneously. The venue also comprises of fully equipped large kitchens, a VIP room, Bridal Room, Prayer Room, Lounge areas and has ample car parking available. Grand Occasions is a fully licensed venue. The Venue now also offers an award winning catering service for all occasions at very reasonable prices whilst still maintaining the highest quality.

The interior design is bold and bright with gold trimmings and quality leather chairs and sofas creating a lovely setting for all types of special occasions.
